3-dimensional drainage system consisting of a drainage core and at least one geosynthetic filter layer. The filter layer protects the drainage core from the ingress of soil particles while allowing the inward movement of gas and water. It is used extensively to solve water and land drainage problems or as a gas collection layer in landfill and road construction.
